    A fine Victorian English leather cigar case with match striking plate on the end and internal sprung lever to hold the cigars in place. Expands for differing lengths of cigar. Circa 1860.

    Dimensions (when closed fully): 13 cm/5 inches (length) x 6.5 cm/2½ inches (width) x 3.5 cm/1⅜ inches (thick).
    Will take up to three cigars with maximum diameter of 2.25 cm/in excess of 52 ring gauge and expands to take a maximum length of 18.5 cm/7¼ inches.
