  • Set of Three Decanters

Spectacular set of three crystal and silver plate decanters, circa 1965; One for wine, one for water and the third, a jug, for lemonade (or other chilled drinks). All are of a larger size; the smallest standing at over 11½ inches/29 cm tall.

Designed by Sergio Asti, one of the top Italian industrial designers who became a founding member of the ADI (Italian Industrial Design Association). Many of the items he has designed are today part of collections in prestigious Design Museums around the world.
The decanters were made by Arnolfo di Cambio, who were founded in Colle Val d’Elsa, in the heart of Tuscany, in 1963. In the course of 45 years and three generations, the firm has absorbed all the skills and tradition of crystal working the town is famous for, combining these with ongoing technological innovation and collaboration with artistic and technical designers. Products by Arnolfo di Cambio, now a brand name of international renown, have earned a range of prizes and awards, and the firm has thus become one of Italy’s leading glass manufacturers.
