The stick has five control buttons\/trigger to actuate various different aircraft systems, additional to the movement of the stick itself. The top centre button is the only one labelled; Nose Up\/ Nose Down - adjusts elevator trim and therefore pitch, to make the plane climb or descend. LWD\/RWD (Left Wing Down, Right Wing Down) adjusts aileron trim and therefore roll, to keep the wings perfectly level.
