The famed Anglo-French Supersonic passenger jet capable of cruising at Mach 2, about 1,350mph, twice the speed of sound, meaning that regular Concorde flights between London and New York took under 3½ hours. In November 1986 a British Airways Concorde flew around the world, covering 28,238 miles in 29 hours, 59 minutes!

At the time this model was crafted, BOAC served as the UK's national airline, leading to the assumption that Concorde would feature these colours when flying. However, the aircraft never actually used the BOAC livery, making this model rather unusual.
Concorde first went in to commercial service in 1976, however in 1974 British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) was amalgamated with British European Airways (BEA) and two smaller, regional airlines to form British Airways (BA).
A notable continuity between BOAC and BA was the registration of their Concordes, which ranged from G-BOAA to G-BOAG. Interestingly, British Airways' first Concorde was registered as G-BOAC.
