Victorian 'Warranted' Leather Cigar Case

Fine Victorian leather cigar case that expands for differing lengths of cigar, embossed on the front with coat of arms and marked Superior Warranted. A metal match striking plate is fixed externally to one end and an internal spring keeps the cigars from getting damaged. Circa 1850.

Dimensions (when fully closed): 14 cm/5 inches (length) x 7.25 cm/2⅞ inches (width) x 3 cm/1¼ inches (thick).

Will take up to three cigars with maximum diameter of 1.7 cm/43 ring gauge and expands to take a maximum cigar length of 19 cm/7½ inches.
