A splendid leather on oak double gun case made for a pair of side by side double barrel 12 bore shotguns, circa 1900. With brass fittings, felt lined interior and elaborate original Boss & Co labels in the lid. One of the leather handle chapes is a sympathetic replacement. The interior is currently blocked for 30½ inch barrels. The leather of the lid is embossed V. CHAPLIN.
