Bronze Models of The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight

Set of three cast solid bronze models that make up the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. An Avro Lancaster, a Hawker Hurricane and a Supermarine Spitfire. With newly made aluminium stands and bases.

Dimensions:
Lancaster: 41 cm/16⅛ inches (length) x 29 cm/11⅞ inches (wing span) x 17.5 cm/6⅞ inches (maximum height on stand).
Hurricane: 14 cm/5½ inches (length) x 16.5 cm/6½ inches (wing span) x 10.75 cm/4¼ inches (maximum height on stand).
Spitfire: 12.25 cm/4⅞ inches (length) x 15 cm/5⅞ inches (wing span) x 10 cm/4 inches (maximum height on stand).

The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) is a Royal Air Force flight which provides an aerial display group. The aircraft are regularly seen at events commemorating the Second World War and upon British State occasions, notably Trooping the Colour, celebrating Queen Elizabeth II's 80th birthday in 2006, and the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton in 2011.
