Fine Victorian leather cigar protector embossed with the maker's name to the front and with a metal match striking plate fixed externally to one end. Case expands for differing lengths of cigar. Circa 1850.

Dimensions (when fully closed): 12.75 cm/5 inches (length) x 6 cm/2⅜ inches (width) x 3.25 cm/1¼ inches (thick).

Will take up to two cigars with maximum diameter of 2.2 cm/52 ring gauge and expands to take a maximum cigar length of 19.75 cm/7¾ inches.
