Motoring and Flying Goggles

A wonderful example from a collection of vintage motoring and flying goggles. The goggles were part of a collection of 100 pairs of motoring and aviation goggles, each one different from the next, that formed the archive of the manufacturer Chr. Kraus & Co, covering the period circa 1900–1950.

It appears that more recently the company, which was based in Fürth, Bavaria, Germany, went through some kind of upheaval or takeover and decided to sell the archive. The company now makes eye protection safety goggles for industry.
