An unusual small stone box made from Malachite with white agate lining. A silver hinge and frame joins the top and bottom sections, with Italian silver 800 purity stamp and maker's identification stamp of 244 MI for Eredi Mazzetti. Made between 1944-1968 in Milan.
Eredi Mazzetti were known for producing high-quality silver objects and decorative pieces. The firm was active in Milan from 1937 to 1971.
