Unusual large-scale model of a late-Victorian crane circa 1880. Beautifully constructed in mahogany with brass binding and details and the original working metal winch and chains, all perfectly scaled. The model is finely detailed and it could have been made as a presentation piece or as a model for a patent. Certainly it was made by a highly skilled craftsman and the attention to detail is exceptional.
