A splendid silver 'top pocket' flask designed to hold a couple of tots of a suitably sustaining liquid. Made by Sheffield silversmiths George and John William Hawksley Ltd., and hallmarked Sheffield 1912. The flask features a cork-lined, hinged top with a bayonet closer, and the lower half of the body is covered with a removable silver cup that slides off when required.
Dimensions: 6.75 cm/2⅝ inches (width) x 11.25 cm/4⅜ inches (height) x 2.25 cm/⅞ inches (thick).
