A wonderful circular silver container that was originally made to carry tobacco. Has an ingenious but simple opening mechanism, squeeze the sides and the lid will pop up. Maker's mark for Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company and hallmarked London 1889. Also has retail mark for Goldsmiths and Silversmiths, Regent Street.
