A fine 'bull's-eye' condenser lens on lacquered brass adjustable stand, that can be used for magnifying close work, e.g. tying fishing flies, philately or for entomology when it can be used for quick identification before microscopic examination. With adjustment for height, rotation and tilt angle of the lens. Circa 1900.
