A six person motoring picnic case made by G. W. Scott and Sons trading under their brand name ‘Coracle’ ; circa 1920.
This set includes 6 glasses, 6 enamelled tin plates and cutlery for six people, four ceramic food boxes with plated tops, three wicker covered glass flasks and three small glass and metal containers (salt, pepper and mustard).
All are contained within a sturdy black Rexine covered box with nickel plated brass fittings. The lid of the case is embossed with the name ‘Sewell'.
Dimensions: 65.5cm/25¾ inches (width) x 40cm/15¾ inches (depth) x 18.5 cm/7¼ inches (height).
