A splendid silver 'top pocket' flask designed to hold a couple of tots of a suitably sustaining liquid. Made by Sheffield silversmiths George and John William Hawksley Ltd. and Hallmarked Sheffield 1912. Has a cork lined, hinged top with a bayonet closer and the bottom half of the body of the flask is covered with a silver cup that can slide off when required.
Dimensions: 6.75 cm/2⅝ inches (width) x 11.25 cm/4⅜ inches (height) x 2.25 cm/⅞ inches (thick).
