A fabulous silver frame in the form of a horseshoe. Original wood back and foot. Made in Germany by Franz Johann jr. of Schwäbisch Gmünd. 925 purity stamp (the same as sterling silver). Import marks for Royal Irish Silver Company and the year 1973.
Dimensions: 15 cm/5¾ inches (max height) x 12 cm/4¾ inches (max width) x 0.75 cm/⅜ inch (thick). Dimensions of glazed area: 11.5 cm/4½ inches (max height) x 9 cm/3½ inches (max width).
