Superb sturdy leather case made using one whole piece of hide forming the front, top, back and bottom, circa 1900. Has a solid brass locking catch with key and engraving to the brass, "Bank of Ireland”. Sides stamped with the case maker Erskine and sons.

Dimensions: 36.5 cm/14⅜ inches (length) x 9.5 cm/3¾ inches (thick) x 27.5 cm/10⅞ inches (height) (plus the handle; an additional 6 cm/2⅜ inches)
