Browning Pistol Model

A spectacular large scale cutaway model of a Browning hi-power pistol. This pistol is made from polished steel and aluminium alloys mounted on a heavy steel stand and was used in military training, to show the workings of the gun. The sheer scale of it provides a decorative object that cannot be ignored.

The Browning ‘HP' is highly regarded as a reliable and powerful military service handgun. Introduced in 1935, standard issue to the armed forces of over 50 countries and still the most prevalent pistol in the British Army (although now gradually being phased out). An impressive weapon that has influenced pistol design worldwide.
