Stamped on the base with 'US and Foreign Patents Pending' referring to Napier's patent of 1933, making this an earlier example of this design. With gilded engraved details for the recipes of fifteen popular cocktails; twist the body of the shaker to point the arrow at the name of the desired cocktail and the recipe appears in the window cut outs beneath. Circa 1933.
