A distinctive clear glass match striker with bubble glass body and diamond cut band around the sphere providing the striking area for matches. Silver collar and liner to the recess hallmarked Birmingham 1905 and stamped with makers mark for John Grinsell and Sons. Also has original retailers mark for the renowned Scottish silversmiths Wilson and Sharp of Princes Street, Edinburgh.
