A handsome chrome plated Dunhill Aquarium table lighter. First seen in 1949, the creation of the Aquarium designs used a reverse intaglio technique where the inside of the four lucite (perspex) panels were first carved and then foiled & painted. This was a complicated process but one that successfully produced the three dimensional effect that these lighters became renowned for.
Dimensions: 9.75 cm/3⅞ inches (width) x 5 cm/2 inches (depth) x 7.75 cm/3⅛ inches (height).
