Dunhill 'Giant' Lighter with Chrome Plated Engine Turned Finish

An unusual engine turned chrome plated Dunhill lighter for table or desk; circa 1940. The 'Giant' lighter was first seen in the Dunhill catalogue in 1929. It was an immediate success and went on to be Dunhill's best selling table lighter.
