A fabulous silver cigar accessory. This box opener has a silver plated steel blade with a notch a third of the way down; this was used to open cedar boxes filled with cigars once purchased from your cigar merchant. The other side of the blade has a hammer-head in order to nail the box closed after use. Hallmarked Sheffield 1898.
