Nineteenth century silver vesta case with crocodile skin pattern and coins raised in the silver. Silver gilt inner and striking plate to the base.
French swan import mark - used from 1893 to 1970. The swan mark identified silver items imported into France from non-treaty countries of minimum .800 fineness; silver watchcases, boxes and jewellery.
