Wonderful decanter with a bottle capacity, modelled as a Champagne bottle. The glass body is fluted, but in a truly elegant fashion, on the inside only; so that the outside surface of the decanter remains smooth. The silver neck and hinged stopper have hallmarks for Birmingham 1893 and makers marks for Hukin and Heath.

We also have a somewhat larger example that has a capacity of just under 6 litres (thats more than 7 bottles of wine!). It was also made by Hukin and Heath and has hallmarks for the year 1892.
