Unusual silver plated cocktail shaker, circa 1930. The body of the shaker is engraved with the recipes for fifteen different cocktails. Made from a heavy gauge of silver plate, lovely quality.
The base has the makers mark for Suckling Ltd, Birmingham. Founded by William Suckling in 1895, the company specialised in quality silver-plated silverware marketed under the trade names Burmese, Regis Plate, and as stamped in the base of this shaker, Kingsway Plate.
