A fantastic metal alloy model of a Sud Aviation SE-210 Caravelle III in Air France livery. First flight with Sud Aviation June 11 1960. Delivered to Air France June 18 1960. Air France named this aircraft Gascogne with the registration F-BHRN. It was in service until April 1978.

Dimensions: 27⅞ inches/68.5 cm (wing span) x 28½ inches/71 cm (length) x 10½ inches/26.5 cm (max height)

The Caravelle first entered passenger service on 26 April 1959 with Scandinavian Airlines Systems (SAS). Air France ordered 12 aircraft in 1956 and integrated it into its fleet in 1959. La Caravelle became the company's spearhead for Europe and the Mediterranean. General de Gaulle made it his presidential aircraft in 1958 and all the great stars travelled on it.

282 Caravelle were built until the production end in 1972. It was operated in every continent until its retirement in 2005.
