Fantastic 1980's original promotional model of a Boeing 747-136 in British Airways Landor livery. With original makers label for Pacific miniatures.

Dimensions: 60cm/ 23⅜ inches (wingspan) x 69cm/ 27⅛ inches (length) x 29cm/ 11½ inches (height to top of tail).

Designed by the famous design house Landor Associates, this updated livery scheme was unveiled in December 1984. It was quite similar to the previous Negus scheme but the white roof was replaced with 'Pearl Grey' and the blue belly replaced with 'Midnight Blue'.

The 747 was the first wide-body airliner, and was nicknamed the "Jumbo Jet".  Early 747s such as this had Pratt & Whitney JT9D turbofan engines. Inside, the 747 was the first to have a twin-aisle layout.
