Fantastic original promotional model made for British Airways by Westway Models, circa 1989. This is a 1:50 scale Boeing 747-400 in British Airways' Landor livery. Designed by the renowned design house Landor Associates, this updated livery scheme was unveiled in December 1984. It was quite similar to the previous Negus scheme, but the white roof was replaced by 'Pearl Grey' and the blue belly by 'Midnight Blue'.

The 747 was the first wide-body airliner and was nicknamed the "Jumbo Jet". The interior layout of the 747 was the first to feature a twin-aisle arrangement. At its height, British Airways had 57 747-400s, which was the world’s largest fleet of this aircraft.

Dimensions: 128 cm/50⅜ inches (wingspan) x 137.5 cm/54⅛ inches (length) x 112 cm/44⅛ inches (height to top of tail).
