Engine Turned Silver Plate Cocktail Shaker

A stylish English silver plated three-piece cocktail shaker with bands of engine turning to the top & cap as well as to the entire body of the shaker, circa 1935. An integral strainer is concealed in the top and the shaker has a one pint capacity. Marked, Sheffield, on the base and made from a decent gauge of silver plate so it is nice and sturdy. Also stamped on the base, A1, to signify the maker's highest classification, in order to distinguish 'superior quality' silver plate. The engine turning to the exterior provides additional grip as well as decoration.
