A rare model of a Lola T 92/10 made to a 1/12 scale cast in solid resin with separate wheels and rear aerofoil, mounted on a black acrylic base. Made by specialist model maker Ian Pickering in the early 1990s, to drawings supplied by Lola cars.
Dimensions: Base measures 53 cm/20⅞ inches x 25.25 cm /10 inches. Car measures 40 cm/15¾ inches x 16.75 cm/6⅝ inches. Weight is 2.3 kg.
Originally commissioned by the Euroracing team to compete in the 1992 World Sportscar Championship season, the Lola T 92/10 was one of the fastest and most advanced Group C sports cars of all time, with the magic combination of extraordinarily high down-force (negative lift) combined with only modest drag.
