Motoring Picnic Hamper

A four person motoring picnic case made by hamper specialists G. W. Scott and Sons, trading under their brand name ‘Coracle’, for English luggage maker and retailer, John Pound ; circa 1920. 

This set includes 4 glasses, 4 enamelled tin plates and cutlery for four people, food boxes, a wicker covered glass flask, a kettle/teapot with burner and two small glass and metal containers (salt and pepper). 

All are contained within a sturdy black Rexine covered box with nickel plated brass fittings. 

Dimensions: 57cm/22½ inches (width) x 32.5cm/12¾ inches (depth) x 18.5 cm/7¼ inches (height).
