Unusual stone box displaying a patchwork of multiple semi-precious stones with a white quartz interior. Originally used as a cigarette box, a gilt metal hinge that joins the top and bottom sections is marked Asprey London. Circa 1940.

Dimensions: 15cm/ 5⅞ inches (length) x 10.5cm/ 4⅛ inches (depth) x 3.5cm/ 1⅜ inches (height).
