An unusual stone box, created from pieces of various semi-precious stones including lapis, malachite and serpentine. 

The stone box, originally used to house cigarettes, has a white agate interior and features a gilt metal frame and hinge. The frame is stamped, 'Made in Italy'. Circa 1970.

Dimensions: 15 cm/5⅞ inches (length) x 10cm/3⅞ inches (depth) x 3cm/1⅛ inches (height).
