Silver Thimble Spirit Flask

A beautifully made conical silver spirit flask with the screw-threaded top in the form of a thimble. The hip flask sits inside a matching oversize thimble tot cup with gilded interior and nineteenth century joke ‘Just A Thimbleful’ enamelled around the top of the cup. Both the flask and cup are Hallmarked London 1876 and have makers marks for the prestigious silversmiths and retailers William Leuchars of Piccadilly, London.
