A fine quality commemorative item made just after WWII in well cast brass on a chrome plated steel stand celebrating both the Spitfire and Seafire aeroplanes produced for the RAF and Fleet Air Arm (Royal Navy’s air division).
The Supermarine Seafire was a naval version of the Spitfire adapted for operation from aircraft carriers. The name Seafire was a simple abbreviation of the longer original name Sea Spitfire.

Dimensions: 23.5 cm/9¼ inches (max length) x 23.25 cm/9⅛ inches (wing span) x 25.5 cm/10 inches (maximum height on stand).
