White Agate Stone Box and Ashtray Set

A spectacular stone box and four ashtray set, trimmed with various semi-precious stones including tiger's eye, malachite and lapis lazuli. 

The stone box, originally used to house cigarettes, features a gilt metal hinge with makers mark HG&S for Henry Griffith & Sons and stamped Made in England. The four ashtrays interlock so they can stack. Circa 1945.

Ashtrays (each) - 7.75cm/3 inches (diameter) x 2 cm/¾ inch (height).
