A delightful box made from white Agate with grey striations running through the stone and a band of Malachite decoration to the lid and centre of the lip. Gilt metal hinge with makers mark HG&S for Henry Griffith & Sons and stamped Made in England. Originally used as a cigarette box, circa 1940.
