Winsor & Newton Watercolour Artist's Box

A wonderful Victorian mahogany artist's box, with original key. By Winsor & Newton, manufacturer and suppliers of artists' requisites.

The box includes a selection of watercolours, brushes, a mixing bowl and two ceramic palettes. Circa 1890. Also comes with a wooden artist's palette.

Winsor & Newton were the recipients of Queen Victoria's first royal warrant, that she granted to them in 1841.

Dimensions 25.5 cm/9 inches (width) x 18 cm/7 inches (depth) x 7.5 cm/3 inches (height).
