A fantastic leather cased hand held leather covered brass two draw telescope with sliding eyepiece cover. Has a 1 inch objective lens and an extendable sunshade to help combat glare. By renowned makers Ross, London, circa 1914. Engraved 'MACHINE GUN SECTION CHESHIRE YEOMANRY'.

Dimensions of scope: 59 cm/23¼ inches (max length) x 4 cm/1⅝ inches (max diameter).
