Unusual and stylish silver box, of particularly heavy gauge, by Birks of Canada.
Designed to house cigarettes, the box features a ridged design to the top, gilding to the inside of the lid and a cedar lining to the body of the box. Silversmiths Henry Birks and Sons enjoyed a long tenure as Canada's top silver producer.
