Victorian cigar protector using crocodile skin that has some texture and expands for differing lengths of cigar. Circa 1890. Has initials J.D. applied in silver to the exterior of the case.
Dimensions: (when closed fully): 14.25 cm/5⅝ inches (length) x 11.5 cm/4½ inches (width) x 2.5 cm/1 inch (thick).
Will take up to six cigars with maximum diameter of 1.5 cm/38 ring gauge and expands to take a maximum cigar length of 19.75 cm/7¾ inches.
