Polished Silver Cube Box

A superb 1960’s silver box originally made to hold cigarettes. Bye renowned Italian silversmith Fratelli Cacchione of Milan. Marked with a 925 purity stamp (the same as sterling silver), the maker’s mark, F.C. and makers number 39MI. This mark for Fratelli Cacchione was used from 1949 - 1970. Fantastic quality!

Fratelli Cacchione are a dynasty of five generations of silversmiths still ongoing today. In the past they have worked for exclusive jewellers such as Tiffany, Cartier, Harry Winston and Asprey and collaborated to make all sorts of different silver ware.
