Malachite Stone Box

A fine 1960s stone box made from Malachite. Originally used as a cigarette box, a silver gilt hinge and frame joins the top and bottom sections. The interior of the lid and base are black Agate. Italian silver 800 purity stamp and maker's identification stamp of 215 Fl for Fabbrica Argenteria Fiorentina di Bartolini Bartolozzi. Made between 1944-1968 in Florence.

Dimensions: 15.25 cm/6 inches (width) x 10.25 cm/4 inches (depth) x 3.5 cm/1⅜ inches (height).
