This model is of one of the helicopters from a range produced through a historical collaboration between Italian company Agusta and the American company Bell Helicopter. This partnership, initially built on Agusta licensing Bell’s designs to manufacture them in Italy, led to the production of a number of different models, including this Agusta-Bell 205.

Dimensions: Max height 19 cm/7½ inches, length 26 cm/10¼ inches, main rotor diameter 29 cm/11⅜ inches.

The AB-205 was Augusta's version of Bell's single-engine, two-blade main rotor and two-blade tail rotor military helicopter from their Huey family of helicopters, manufactured to meet demands for reliable, versatile transport. This version was extensively used by the Italian Army, first flying in 1966.
